Evergreen Area

Evergreen Colorado is a town of approximately 9000 full time residents located 29 miles from Denver in the foothills west of town. Founded around 1860 as part of the western gold rush, Evergreen has kept it’s small town feel while providing big town amenities.

It has easy access to Denver to the east and the mountains on the west via I-70.

Known for all it’s recreational activities, Evergreen has lakes, creeks, hiking and biking trails, fishing and golf courses.

Part of the award winning Jefferson County Public School district, Evergreen schools are known for their academic excellence. And the sports teams aren’t bad either.

Although not large, Evergreen has lots of things to see and do including the Hiwan Homestead Museum. And did you know that the International Bell Museum is located here?

With it’s location in the foothills, solar custom homes and green built custom homes are encouraged. Residents agree that green built homes are a perfect fit for the Evergreen community.

The people who live in Evergreen love the beauty, the variable weather, the home town feeling and the wildlife outside their doors. Check it out! We think you’ll love it too.
